FILMING.
We filmed the boy's opening scenes where he is shown waking up. Obviously with him waking up this scene would be shot in early morning, so we had to make sure the lighting in the room matched this time of day. (As we were filming in the afternoon instead.) We will make sure that the girl's scenes later on will be filmed the same way we did these ones to help with the continuity factor as well as helping with the parallel match on action shots.
