Props are used to enhance the action that is happening within a scene, add to a location and make it realistic for the audience. Props should represent the action that is happening alongside them, and should also grab the attention of the audience; as props should be remembered long after the dialogue has finished.
OUR PROPS.
Vodka bottle.
Teddy bear.
Flowers.
Mobile phone.
For our film we will use the above props quite frequently to create links for the audience, but not too much that they become irrelevant. For example, the teddy bear will be shown both with the boy and the girl and a focal point is created when this same teddy bear is placed upon the girls grave, following the transition of the couple.
